Attachment & Detachment

Is there something you can't stay without?
What are you attached to?
What are your addictions?
Recent reports say some of our youth are having a tremendous treat with a certain trap called 'tramor'.
Aside from causing temporary tremors in their thinking, and tricking them to trek that treacherous path, our society risks managing huge numbers of addicts tomorrow.
In fact, addiction is a social challenge now, because most of us have subtly become attached to or are over indulgent in certain material things that are tampering other sectors of our lives.
It's possible that we are attached to our phones, certain foods, some habits or other material things.
We know those who are also addicted to alcohol, cigar, tobacco, glue, Tramadol, Indian hemp television, video games, sex, jewels, money among others.

In our excessive attachments, we inadvertently become enslaved by these things.
It's a challenge retreating from some of these things, but it's still a doable thing to detach ourselves from them and manage through with help in the form of counseling and social support.
Perhaps what we can do is to seek a prudent and balanced use of some of these things in the first place.
Having said this, it is still vital, to make wise choices and make the best of all the material things we've got at our disposal.
So while doing a soul search of my attachments and addiction, I think we can from today make wise and prudent choices to manage them.
May your week never be weak.
God bless you.
Greetings.
