I Know You Know

I know you know your name and the names of others.
I know you know when morning comes.
I know you know when the Sun shines.
I know you know when the evening tides visit.
I know you know when you are healthy, happy and ready.
I know you know when you are unhealthy too?
I know you are conscious of life and the essence of our being here.
Sometimes we may know why the birds fly, but other times we may not know why they fly the way they do.
Sometimes we may or may not know the reasons for every happening.
But I know you know there's a God who knows the reasons why things happen the way they do.
I know you know the right and appropriate things to do at any time.
I know you know it's difficult keeping up with the right things most of the time.
I know you know that we may not have control over all the happenings around us.
I know you know the effects of good actions from the bad ones.
However, what I don't know is whether you know if God is pleased with what you think you're doing right?
What I don't know is how well you know yourself, your family, your friends, and your God?
What I don't know is how well you know the known and the unknown?
What I don't know is how well you care about life and human dignity?
