Which of Them are You?

There are different species of plants and trees 🌲 🌲 in every forest. While others are edible, medicinal, others are not. But their uniqueness serves a purpose in the ecosystem.

Likewise, there are different individuals who aside their sex, age and stature, often exhibit unique characters.

Yes, we do have individuals with fantastic, friendly, and funny characters.

These characters are usually presented and replayed to us at theatres, in our films, music, poetry and in the conduct of our daily lives.

The stories we hear and read inform us about people's characters that we ought to beware of and not be surprised.

Interestingly, there are generally good characters that strives to be good in the right sense of the word.

There are genetically smart characters, gifted in ways to get things done, when their interests are at stake.

There are the easygoing characters that easily promise to live by certain rules, but are the first to break them, and pretend to be living by the tenet of the standards.

There are those characters that encourage others to take action but will run away the moment anything go untoward.

Similarly, some characters also exhibit tendencies to be the all knowing holier-than-thou righteous ones, dishing out sentences upon judgement and criticism here and there, yet are the least tolerant of correction from others.

We know of characters who provoke and give you false hope as if they are in the fight, only to leave you, and turn around labelling your failures, so beware.

There are some characters who are perpetually committed, yet correctly unpredictably, so beware.

And there are some characters with permanent interest and will still lurk around to take advantage of every situation, so beware.

Sometimes we observe zealous characters who start out with big convincing ideas but lack the courage, tenacity and fortitude to walk the talk, so beware.

There are characters who misconstrue the mission of your will and betray your noblest intention. They are traitors, who won't hesitate sacrificing our collective interest for their own gain and at a pittance, so beware.

There are other characters who are notoriously mischievous and will go all out oppose every move, so beware.

Other characters wish they're doing what you're doing, and are jealously planning, plotting and punctuating your possible moves with cynical thought, so beware.

There are those characters, who care less about your relevance and are indifferent, insensitive and are just not bothered, so beware.

Interestingly, there are lovely characters who share the burden of your mission and will sacrifice or try to be around, so take note.

There are loyal characters, who will willingly accompany and stand by you wherever you go either in prayer and with their presence, so take note.

These loyalist are different from the praise singers, yeyemen, sycophants and bootlickers, who will stay on as long as the juicy nectar they suck from you continue to pour, so take note.

You can expect the hypocritical characters to selectively cough when they feel things don't go their way, so do take note.

These characters and many others are real and occur partially or fully in the various spheres of this living theatre with many different shades.

So which of the characters do you act out more?  Are we ready to admit our unique characters, and share them with God who still loves us and desire the best for us?

Sometimes we ought to be more responsible, listen critically and act with tact in this stage of life.

May God help us to be true to ourselves, pray for our love ones and even those who persecute us.

Greetings
