This Year

We walked the distance of days in months with grace.
We moved through many opportunities in challenges.
We caressed our appetites for many things through the year without necessarily considering the subtle or global effects on us or others.
Many took million steps  of several beginnings in this year. Numerous others attempted but missed their steps or overstepped their boundaries.
We also heard interesting news we are proud to listen to again or are even shy to learn from them.
This year marked the entry of hundreds of millions through births, while millions exited through deaths.
Some needless
deaths of our compatriots could have been avoided if not for our benign negligence, yet we still find our voices to sing the never again mantra.
This year holds pleasant and unpleasant memories for many of us with sticky experiences.
People's thought and deeds in this year might either affect us or others positively or negatively.
We may have our ups and downs this year, but a lot of things were invented.
We have our own assessment of what we had to do in respect of what we ought to do and how best we ought to live but we know the narratives.
We have heard some wild juicy gossips of others about us and the tantalising lies which swim out of the careless comfort of the month.
We heard the destruction  caused by an atomic like explosion  at a certain Atomic Junction, and we moved on.
In this year, we heard how the drills of promises dribbled the doubtfulness and even dared to dabbled in the draws of political correctness.
But all in all God's grace has been sufficient this year.
And even as the new leaves beckons with its alluring glamour of pregnant wishes, please let's do something today that our future may thank us.
Greetings
