Dear God of Host,

Gracefully accept our gratitude for the beautiful gift of this day.
And graciously be merciful on us and cleanse us of our iniquities.

Be pleased to grant your children peace in mind, heart, body and soul, and in our communities.
Guard and govern us throughout our day's work and reward us accordingly.
Guide us by your shadow of care and by your eternal statutes.
Please, give us our daily bread and show us how to value the people you put in our lives.
And gently remind us to always be patient and keep faith with you.

Dear Lord, please be our inspiration at every moment and walk with us on this pilgrimage.
Be pleased to bless and favour your children this day. Amen

In our quest to satisfy our daily needs of what to eat and wear, we very often forget or give less attention to the very things that equally needs our care.  Sometimes our busy schedules in search of money or comfort are making us take little care of some pertinent things in our lives that we ought to care about.  Oftentimes, we also become too petty, bemoan and complain too much of our challenges of what's not done or what's still needed to do. Today, in seeking a balance, may we always value the little things like our faith, integrity, concern for the human family.
