REMEMBER THEM

A while ago, they walked, talked and stalked time.
A while ago, they lived, believed and smiled with us.
A while ago, they wept, crept and kept faith in an undying hope.
A while ago, O! just a while ago, they breathed the moments of sweet sufferings and strange struggles of the hour.
A while ago, they also enjoyed and endured joys of transient trivialities of life, our insensitive reactions, stereotypes, and prejudices of humanity. 

But today, they are long gone with the whistle of time.
Today they've long kissed the ashes of eternity.
Today they've gone home to their maker.

If for nothing at all, remember they walked this path before.
If for nothing at all, remember they're with us yesterday.
If for nothing at all, remember they're a part of our many stories.
If for nothing at all, remember they somehow contributed to where we are now.
If for nothing at all, remember that we shall all vacate this space one day, and please don't ask me when, because I don't know.
If for nothing at all, let's remember these souls in our prayers today for the LORD to keep them safe.

Though some are painfully fresh in our memories, while time has long hidden some precious memories, their memorials still stand tall with those inexplicable feelings of lose and love.

I don't know what you remember about them but if for nothing at all, let's remember to be humble in our lives, live lasting legacies and live ever prepared every time of our pilgrimage, for there's no time.

May God be our light and help, as we journey in the land of the Living.
