I know a friend who I know knows me inside out.
I know a friend who is more than just a friend.

I didn't chose this friend but she long accepted the responsibility to care for me.

This friend is a great but modest duty bearer who taught me how to walk and talk.
This duty bearer is my first teacher.
This duty bearer is my first special girl friend I can't forget.

Yes, we disagreed and disturbed the peace in our friendship.
Yes, we invoked and provoked each other.
Yes, you disciplined and denied my dreadful demands, while you detailed my desires in order.
Though you didn't pamper me, I am proud of your care.
Though I got punished for my silly and stubborn ways, I am grateful for your warm care.
Though you never spared me on my wayward ways, I am always assured of your shielding care.

The numerous concerns about the behaviour of men in certain quarters has affected the development of boys. Even more worrying is the machismo and bravado portrayal of boys character trait. These developments coupled with some socialisation trends has equally fluenced boys and subtly contributed to the death of many men.
