TRUE SHEPHERDS

Walk in the shadows of the Good Shepherd.
Follow the worthy examples of the Good Shepherd.
Proclaim the deeds of the Good Shepherd.
Bask in the fame of the everliving Good Shepherd.
Strive to shine and share in the abundant grace Jesus Christ
breathes into our lives.

We have leaders who are shepherds in their own right
We have leaders who don't feel for their followers
We have leaders who don't even know the pains and smells of their followers.
We have leaders who don't even care about the wellbeing of their flock.

Today, there is more than a worthy example in the leadership of Jesus Christ.
As the Good Shepherd he shows us the true meaning of service and sacrifice.
He shows us what it takes to actually chastise the ills in our followers, while loving them.
He gives us a model of how to love and still inspire hope among a people.
May God who desired that His Son should come and liberate us continue to help us follow the steps of the Good Shepherd.

In our quest to satisfy our daily needs of what to eat and wear, we very often forget or give less attention to the very things that equally needs our care.  Sometimes our busy schedules in search of money or comfort are making us take little care of some pertinent things in our lives that we ought to care about.  Oftentimes, we also become too petty, bemoan and complain too much of our challenges of what's not done or what's still needed to do.
