COMMON-SENSE PHILOSOPHY

Is it that common?
Is it that very common? Is there a challenge of feeling it?

Amidst the chaos of increments in taxation and the dangerous national debt hanging  on our neck, we can perhaps hail the efforts of our concerned negotiators.

But the sad truth is that our creditors are already in our kitchen, telling us how we need to ration these bitter pills. This means we need to brace ourselves for hard times.

That we forgive the negligence of our cronies and government;
That we continue to lie to ourselves about the true state of our affairs;
That we continue to  praise the naughtiness in our political manifestations,
It is sad we will have to  continue limping this way for now.

But that truth cannot contradict truth, we have to listen to the rhythm of time, be pragmatic and strategic in our plans and programmes, while we pray for the Holy Spirit to inspire us, like St. Thomas Aquinas to love God with our minds and our hearts, while we do what's necessary to save our souls for our eminent salvation.
