MERCIFUL LOVE

Once there was this mentally challenged man who drunk from the dirty gutter in front of GBC Kanda, Accra. There was another neglected fellow in a village somewhere on the dusty portions of the Eastern Corridor, who also fed from the refuse dump. But ironically, I have never seen any and many of these folks at the hospital before. Yet they are always strong and healthy all the time.

So I wondered what keeps them immune from our daily sickness? Who keeps them healthy in spite of the fact that they sleep in the open and at the mercy of mosquitoes and the discomfort of our weather?
How come with that, though they disobey the hygiene rules, they are still strong?

Certainly, there is someone out there I believe who's merciful LOVE still breathes CARE on these folks.
There is somebody out there who fixed the seasons and carried us through these tides of days on count.
There is someone who alternate the day and night conundrum of time in motion.
There is a God, who remembered to wake you up today and He is rich in mercy. And there is abundance of this divine mercy this day for you too.

So stop complaining about your many failures, because the world won't forgive you anyway;
Stop belittling yourself because of your many shortcomings, because people expect more from you;
Stop punishing yourself excessively of your sins, failures and what you did wrong yesterday;
But rather start appreciating the availability of this MERCIFUL LOVE for you this day and avail yourself for it. Start doing the right things you ought to do this day to make you a better person.

Go back to this caring merciful God, who hasn't forgotten you or my friends in the narrative above. And bare your heart out to Him this day and see if He won't touch you. Have a feel of this graceful mercies this day.
