TRUST GOD

Can we trust the winds not to throw dust into our faces?
Can we trust the rains not to flood our rooms?
Can we trust the onions or foods we eat not to poison our health?
Can we trust the farmer not to over spray pesticides or other chemicals on our foods crops and land?
Can we trust our vehicles to carry us on that journey safely?
Can we trust our health providers with the safety of our health?
Can we trust our teachers not to taunt or over-discipline our talents or minds?
Can we trust our government not to renege on its promises?
Can we trust our love ones not to cause us undue pain?
Can we trust our enemies not to hate us unconditionally?
Can we trust our people not to be affected by the ‘people’s disease’ of misbehaving?
Can we always trust life not to shake and spank us?
Can we trust death not to sneak on us unannounced with its untimely time?
Can we trust ourselves not to be surprised by the effects of our spontaneous thoughts and actions?
So who or what can we trust at all if not the Creator himself?
But I trust we can still truly TRUST GOD to be that Good God to bless and protect us through our challenging life journey.
This trust that helps us relates to God in a special way somehow requires us to listen to the dictates of our God and the prompting of the Holy Spirit to always be good people.
May God bless and nourish us with His redeeming gifts as we live this day to trust Him more.
