Your ideal view of the future is worth defending. Your vision in this mission is necessary to preserve. Committing to your aspirations is a good thing to do. Listening to wise counsel and the voice within is a needful duty. There is something in your name you must protect. There is something in your character you must consolidate. There is something in our comradeship we must preserve. There is something in our connectivity with the Supreme Being, we must observe. Connection is critical to our survival. Our existence is conjoined with others. So in our communities, we realise that we are because of others. You are essentially a human being, because I am, and I am because you are. The late Joseph Hills (Culture) a reggae artist puts it succinctly : 'No one man is an island and no man stands a alone'. And since time immemorial human beings have lived, walked, talked and moved. These movements have seen tremendous increase because of our need to live, work, and survive. Although there are different layers of engagement in these spaces in our markets and interactions, we cannot heavily curtail or avoid some glitches. It's common knowledge we would scratch each other in our connections, and we must find ways to deal with them. We there are good people out there, and there equally bad people too. We probably know that in this lifetime, each of us is here for a reason. It is a fact that sometimes, we may know where exactly we're going and even have a well-thought-out plan to live the purpose of our lives. Often time, we know the steps to take to get there. However, sometimes we may be unsure of when, how and what to do. Other times, we may be lost, stuck or be in limbo on how to even meander through. Our visions of where we’d like to be or go could be blurred, or maybe our vision still eludes us and we could just be moving the moments. But whatever happens in the turns and curves of life, please keep learning and keep believing in Divine Providence. Since there are different perspectives to life, it's still expedient to keep an open mind and keep working towards our betterment.  Even if we feel lost in the uneven currents of this sail, may we never give up but strive to connect with ourselves, our aspirations and our God to keep our hopes alive.

The challenges of the family today is a reality we cannot run away from. The family as the basic unit of our society needs our care and attention. It's what gives our members their role. So today, we remember the initiators, the seed sowers, the Source, the Nourisher, the Supporter, and the Foundation of our families. There are some absentee fathers we cannot forgive but can we forget those father figures in our lives? Gratitude is still a worthy tribute to pay To the memory of our fathers. It is true we may not always understand, appreciate or even agree with them on some pertinent issues. It's true we hardly see their tears and the consistent efforts they make. But can we forget their sacrifices and the way they encourage us to be keep going and growing? In many respects, we celebrate your worth. We remember you for your sweats and sacrifices. Should it take missing moments for us to miss them? Should it be at parting moments for us to shed sad tears of goodbyes? Why should it take times like this to wail and ascribed all our sentiments of sorrow? Why should it take such times to render edited tributes to these souls? There should be a good reason why it's called last respects. But in life, it takes sadness to know happiness; It takes noise to appreciate silence, And it takes absence to value presence. However, to wean ourselves from this tricky agony, we have a responsibility to celebrate the goodness and serenity of the good things that come our way. Are we afflicted in any way? Are we perplexed and driven to despair? Are we constrained and persecuted? Are we abandoned and dejected? It could be that you are struggling to wake from a challenge. There are many shades of schemes. And there are alternating schemes of suspense still suspending in our thoughts. With each moment, we may perceive it at different levels of consciousness. But opinions still vary on what the biggest suspense in life is.  The burden of trusting and waiting for the divine plan could be one of the suspense. The challenge of not knowing the unknown in this intemperate times could be another. However,  the bit about not knowing who is planing for you, praying for you, and those playing or preying on you could be the biggest suspense in life. It's good to give people the benefit of doubt, while respecting the spaces and observing the trends. But a good approach is to trust God, build organic comradeship, be good and take care of yourself.
