The pregnant clouds embraced a grayish hazy look of a lazy dry air this day, which gives credence to what the weather watchers professed a while ago. The intensity of the harmattan intimacy on our skylines informs us of a nauseating season in our weather. So even as the Word made flesh breathes life and dwells amongst us, let's welcome the Good News of the Son and embrace the season with a calabash of Shea butter and gallons of water, as we try to handle fire with care. Proclaim to all, the visible truth of God's salvation to mankind. Tell the world about the opportunity of eternal life for everyone. Prepare your hearts and heads. Prepare your thoughts and tongues, Because the LORD is kind and faithful to those who keep his covenant. The LORD never forgets those who remember the afflicted and suffering. PRAYER: Eternal King of all nations and people come and save us from our iniquities and sooth our sorrows. And though we mourn the death of nine Ghanaians who perished in the La Gas explosion last night, it's my prayer that You O! In the discharge of our various duties; In living our various roles as a people, We one way or the other fail to appreciate the fact that we are part of a bigger group and that our actions and inactions affect others. And those who are lucky to know this truth, equally fail to appreciate the true cost of pride and complacency. Sometimes it is a silky bliss of folly to think that we'll maintain our positions forever, or always be the superiors. Sometimes we so much want to control things with our little positions of influence, when in reality we still don't control when we must sleep or wake. Sometimes we truly want to predict happenings of the next moment, the next hour and the future, when in reality we are only stewards entrusted with a duty to serve.
