YOUR TIME

Prepare your hearts and heads. Prepare your thoughts and tongues, Because the LORD is kind and faithful to those who keep his covenant. The LORD never forgets those who remember the afflicted and suffering. PRAYER: Eternal King of all nations and people come and save us from our iniquities and sooth our sorrows. At your own time, help us give birth to beautiful fruits like Elizabeth who gave gave birth to John the Baptist. And though we mourn the death of nine Ghanaians who perished in the La Gas explosion last night, it's my prayer that You O! Lord will keep their souls, console the bereaved families and bless us too to be vigilant and extra cautious in our dealings.πŸ™πŸΏ Remain blessed. #KYB ✍🏿#

DUTY TO SERVE

In the discharge of our various duties; In living our various roles as a people, We one way or the other fail to appreciate the fact that we are part of a bigger group and that our actions and inactions affect others. And those who are lucky to know this truth, equally fail to appreciate the true cost of pride and complacency. Sometimes it is a silky bliss of folly to think that we'll maintain our positions forever, or always be the superiors. Sometimes we so much want to control things with our little positions of influence, when in reality we still don't control when we must sleep or wake. Sometimes we truly want to predict happenings of the next moment, the next hour and the future, when in reality we are only stewards entrusted with a duty to serve. God the supreme is still in charge and in control. So appreciating the truth of our being and acknowledging the fact that we are here to serve is vital. And like Christ Jesus, we all have a duty to serve and a mission to

GIFT OF GRACE

The Sun yawned with a glowing smile again, while the clouds danced along to the live tunes of grace this day. As we look forward to a blissful day, with  thankful hearts for the gift of life , may we be receptive to the redemptive hope of glory. May Yahweh strengthen us to be good people. May He be merciful on us and bath us with His fulfilling grace. Be blessed and have a blissful day. Good morningπŸ’₯🌹 #KYB ✍#

CONGRATULATORY NOTE

It was an intense contest of ideals, ideas and virtues of quality leadership. And Ghanaians on Wednesday, gave their verdict. The people spoke. Congratulations to all Ghanaians for showing the world we are capable of making decisions without fighting. Congratulations to the President elect William Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo for being courageous and persistent in putting up himself for the race several times. Congratulations to President John Dramani Mahama for gracefully accepting the verdict of the people. Congratulations to the Electoral Commission for refereeing the polls amidst the pressure. Congratulations to the media and all observers for following the process with keen interest. Yes we voted for change in our political leadership, but let this vote inspire an attitudinal, behavioural, systematic, mental and economic change and reform in our country. We all must be ready to support authentic change in every sphere of our engagement. Long live Ghana Long live Afrika.

πŸ‡COUNTING TRENDS

The frequency in tallying the numbers trickled inn from every part. Officials walked and watched the time of the flow as the night stretched its arms into days, while the agents and the observers refused to blink their eyes. The fatigued smiles of people policing the polls through the tense vigil hours, makes the game interesting. We may hear the affairs of Wednesday in no time, even as the counting trends teases anxiety in our hearts. But wherever or whoever you stand for, remain calm. And remember that whatever happens from tomorrow, let us live as a unique people to continue the task of nation building. We all have a duty to forge ahead and work together. Ghana needs us all alive. So keep the peace and take care of yourself. God bless you. Good eveningπŸ‡¬πŸ‡ #KYB ✍#

DEMOCRACY OF ELECTIONS

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡πŸ‡¬πŸ‡πŸ‡¬πŸ‡πŸ•ΈπŸ‡¬πŸ‡πŸ‡¬πŸ‡πŸ‡¬πŸ‡ Did I hear the Democrats belch? Did I hear the Patriots chuckle? Or did I hear the hissing of the Nationalists? We have heard and overheard their loud pleas for votes with their various voices. We have listened to their hourly sweet persuasive words and reasons in our cottages, hamlet, villages, ghettos, towns and cities. We debated the possibility and impossibility of their views and propositions. And they all begged for our votes or endorsement after telling us how they uniquely love us, while mocking and exposing the sins of their opponents. But what none of them is telling us is their true motive for seeking power or wanting to stay on in power. The terrible truth however is that our leaders are seeking to be Lords instead of be the sensitive Servants they ought to be. A lot of interests come to play in the scheme of affairs, and I doubt if this democracy of elections is actually helping us address the real challenges we face as a society. It i
