๐Ÿ•ŠFAIR DEAL ๐Ÿ•Š

What we say often are potent. What we do daily affect our attitude. What we don't do also affect us. But in all, let our dealings be fair. Let fair deal mark the steps we take today to our common future. Have a wonderful weekend. TGIF Remain Blessed. ๐Ÿค— ‪ # ‎ KYB ✍ ๐Ÿฟ

DO WE CARE?

Do we care about our smiles? Do we care about our present? Do we care about our future? Do we care about our salvation? Do we care about our safety? How well do we care about others? How well do we care about what we eat? How well do we care about the vulnerable? How well do we care about the poor? How well do we care about the rains? How well do we even care about life? The concerns of the few for power; The pretense of the few that they care for our challenges, The deliberate care they advance for our collective powers Is laughable. Do we really care? Do we really care for our well-being? Do we really care for our health? Do we really care for authentic progress or election and power? May God help us to care more for the things that matter. Stay blessed.

FINISHING THE UNFINISHED AGENDA

Image
We heard the merits and demerits in our lamentations. We are aware of our deadly stereotypes nibbling at our progress. We are aware of the benefits working together for the common good will inure to us, but we prefer the perks and expensive money from our colonial masters. We are aware of the risk and toils our forefathers went through to get us here, but we appear to have betrayed their worthy cause. We live in the sunshine of our graceful wealth and yet we are the least beneficiary of these abundant  gifts. We're aware of our own failings and the forces that work against our efforts to integrate and stay united. We are also aware of our own acts of petty politicking that is working against us. It's a fact that our liberation struggle is still on and we have an arduous task to finish the unfinished agenda of our liberation. As Robert Nestor Marley echoed in his Redemption Song, we all have a duty to "emancipate ourselves from mental slavery,

๐Ÿ•ฏPROGRESSIVE MANIFESTO๐Ÿ•ฏ

Image
We have a common background, because we're the same people with different faces; We have established cults of institution that perpetuate our progress but are we all living the values in our professed ideals? In the context of who we are, where we are coming from and where we've got to in terms of where we're going, there's more room for improvement. So long as our needs keep changing; So long as our aspirations keep changing; We need a sustainable progressive plan to revolutionize our economy, our agriculture, our education and our mental attitude, that should inform the way we do politics in every sphere. Our politics should move from the petty divisive approach it has used over these years and be allowed to breathe some refreshing revival into our focus and thinking. May God be our help in developing lasting values that will make our economy resilient and progressive. Remain Blessed. ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿฟ ‪ # ‎ KYB ✍ ๐Ÿฟ

๐Ÿ•ธSTAY CONNECTED๐Ÿ•ธ

Our lives are interconnected. Our hopes are interlinked. Our destinies are intertwined. But our speech and actions are also interesting. So with the inherent hope for progress,  the need for integrity in evolving integrated solutions to our challenges is key. In whatever we do today, let's stay connected with our God and fellow human beings.  Let's do what we ought to do to protect our well-being and our common good. ๐ŸŒฆ Greetings. ๐Ÿค—BORROWED SMILES ๐Ÿค—

Image
Genuine smiles frequent our faces. Interesting smiles comes in a while. Painful smiles visit our faces sometimes, while borrowed smiles keep singing its age old notes. Overtime, we have developed an inelastic fixation for borrowing for everything, while we smile at our independence and democratic credentials. We still cherish the bread crumbs falling from the tables of others, while we still smile, laugh and boast of our independence. Borrowing for a worthy course is good but must we necessarily smile when it's an expensive money? Must we smile when the pillars of our democratic commissions survive on the charities or benevolence of others to make us independent? Must we smile when we cannot just agree and disagree without making noise or fight? Can we still spare a thought on the need for peace, while we examine the bigger climate of how we approach our small-small interests? Beyond our campaigns for control and influence on either November 7 or December 7, le

JUST BELIEVE

Believe in your God no matter what happens. Believe that you are here to fulfil a purpose.   Believe in yourself to live this purpose. Believe in your dreams and trust your instincts. Believe that you are a champion. Believe that you can turn around your situation. Believe that nothing can stop you unless you stop yourself.
