🤗BORROWED SMILES 🤗

Image
Genuine smiles frequent our faces. Interesting smiles comes in a while. Painful smiles visit our faces sometimes, while borrowed smiles keep singing its age old notes. Overtime, we have developed an inelastic fixation for borrowing for everything, while we smile at our independence and democratic credentials. We still cherish the bread crumbs falling from the tables of others, while we still smile, laugh and boast of our independence. Borrowing for a worthy course is good but must we necessarily smile when it's an expensive money? Must we smile when the pillars of our democratic commissions survive on the charities or benevolence of others to make us independent? Must we smile when we cannot just agree and disagree without making noise or fight? Can we still spare a thought on the need for peace, while we examine the bigger climate of how we approach our small-small interests? Beyond our campaigns for control and influence on either November 7 or December 7, le

JUST BELIEVE

Image
Believe in your God no matter what happens. Believe that you are here to fulfil a purpose.   Believe in yourself to live this purpose. Believe in your dreams and trust your instincts. Believe that you are a champion. Believe that you can turn around your situation. Believe that nothing can stop you unless you stop yourself. God wills that you see this day, so believe He loves you.   Be blessed

POSITIVE AMBITION

Image
Some say it is an incurable quest in every man. Others see it as a naked passion that pushes us to excel. It is the main ingredient that people seek in every power. You can see it in the extent to which people go to attain money and power. Ambition is its name.     Ambition is higher than desires. Ambition awakes the survival instinct in man. Ambition evokes the quest in every soul. Ambition provoke  people's ’ drive to go higher. Ambition makes man’s hunger for betterment to rise. But desperate ambition is deadly and poisonous. Possessive ambition is fatal and destructive. Greedy ambition is lethal and vicious. Selfish ambition is brutal and disastrous. Negative ambition is harmful and unhealthy. Some people kill just to satisfy their ambition. Some people malign others to satisfy their ulterior ambition. Some people damage others reputation in the name of reaching their ambition. Some people engage other forces to live their ambit

👏🏿WITH GRATITUDE👏🏿

In the heart of memory is gratitude. In the light of a new day is our appreciation. In the moments of the tide is our thanksgiving. In the breaths we take to live is our praise. In the steps we make is our applause to your Holy Name. Thank God for leading us to this new day.  With gratitude we adore your name. With heartfelt appreciation we thank you endlessly. With our hearts and life we give you honour and praise. Thank you Yahweh for the gift of life. Have a wonderful day. Remain Blessed  # ‎ KYB ✍ 🏿

🌬COOL BREEZE 💤

Image
The sweet evening breeze blows again. The breeze on this Saturday evening breathes some coolness on us. Like the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the breeze breathes some freshness into our smiles and lightens our burden. Even as you go to sleep, may the Paraclete enrich you with deep understanding and the spirit of discernment. May God's Spirit empower and restore you to greater glory. Be blessed immeasurable. ‪ # ‎ KYB ✍ 🏿

INCORRUPTIBLE WILL

Image
Some say it is a strange canker, eating deep into our social fibre. Others say it is an age old disease, which is still giving headache to policy makers. Many agree it is an intemperate subject that is all caressing our norms of gifts giving to grease and oil the wheels of custom.     And when the subject of corruption came up, we heard lamentations of thoughts in talks. We heard about the perceptible denial like Peter did to Jesus Christ during the latter's crucifixion. We heard about our feeble efforts to name the huge elephant in our rooms and send it to its appropriate place. We know the serious freedom the dodgy gifts giving and the silently-loud or subtle requests for these gifts seem to have on our favourable duties. We know the unhappy systemic affairs bribery and corruption is having in almost every facet of our national lives. Has it got to do with our gift giving culture? Has it got to do with the inherent systemic failures, which lacks authentic
